Diese persönliche Sammlung versammelt fünfundzwanzig Gedichte, die Iskandar El-Dick in seiner Jugend schrieb — das erste, „Sie wird mir bleiben", in El Mina im Jahr 1963; das letzte, „Begegnung", zwischen Beirut und Berlin im Mai 1975. Die meisten entstanden in El Mina, wo der Dichter seine Jugendjahre verbrachte, bevor sein lyrisches Schaffen mit der Niederlage des Sechstagekriegs 1967 verstummte und vier Jahrzehnte schweigen sollte.
Diese private Sammlung ist nie zuvor in Buchform erschienen — sie wird hier zum ersten Mal öffentlich präsentiert, vorerst nur im arabischen Original. Eine deutsche Übersetzung folgt nach Möglichkeit. Eines der Gedichte aus dieser Zeit, „Begegnung", ist bereits in deutscher Fassung im Band „Es liegt nicht in meiner Hand" als Bonus-Sektion zu lesen.
This personal collection gathers twenty-five poems that Iskandar El-Dick wrote in his youth — the first, „She Shall Remain Mine", in El Mina in 1963; the last, „Encounter", between Beirut and Berlin in May 1975. Most were written in El Mina, where the poet spent his adolescence and early twenties, before his lyrical voice fell silent with the defeat of the Six-Day War in 1967 — and stayed silent for four decades.
This private collection has never appeared in print — it is presented here for the first time, currently in the Arabic original only. A German translation will follow as it becomes possible. One of the poems from this period, „Encounter", is already available in German in the bonus section of „It Is Not in My Hand".
تَضمُّ هذه المجموعةُ الخاصةُ خمساً وعشرينَ قصيدة كَتَبها إسكندر الدِك في شبابهِ — أوّلُها «ستبقى لي» في الميناء عام ١٩٦٣، وآخرُها «لقاء» بين بيروت وبرلين في أيار ١٩٧٥. غالبيتُها كُتبتْ في الميناء، حيثُ أمضى الشاعرُ سنواتِ المراهقةِ والشبابِ الأولى، قبل أن تَسْكُتَ قريحتُهُ الشعريةُ إثر هزيمةِ حزيران ١٩٦٧ وتظلَّ صامتةً نحو أربعةِ عقود.
هذه المجموعةُ لم تُنشَر سابقاً في كتابٍ مطبوع، وتُعرَضُ هنا للمرَّةِ الأولى — بالعربيَّةِ فقط في هذه المرحلة. ستَتْبَعُ ترجمتُها الألمانية بحسب الإمكان. إحدى قصائدِ تلك المرحلة، «لقاء»، تَتَوَفَّرُ بالألمانية في القسمِ الإضافي من ديوان «لا حيلة لي».
